Wwoofstock logo 2015OOFSTOCK, a ‘one stop shop’ for finding the perfect pet

Oklahoma Alliance for Animals (OAA), animal welfare organizations and shelters around Green Country, are coming together for the 10th Annual “Woofstock,” Oklahoma’s largest and grooviest pet adoption event scheduled for Saturday, September 26th from 10 am to 2 pm at Riverwalk Crossing in Jenks.

“Woofstock” activities include: 

  • Adoptable pets from over 35 animal rescue organizations and shelters. All newly adopted pets will receive a FREE micro-chip, ID tag, goody bag (Courtesy of OAA), Wellness exam (courtesy of the Mobile Pet Vet) and a photo with their newly adopted pet (courtesy of Bob Foshay Photography)
  • The Million Mutt March, a walk to stomp out animal cruelty will kick off this year’s Woofstock
  • Pet Contests (11 am – Grooviest Costume, 12 noon – Best Trick, 1 pm – Cutest Puppy)
  • $20 micro-chipping and $5 ID tags from Oklahoma Alliance for Animals
  • Pet related vendors and businesses
  • Food Trucks

This year’s event will be kicked off by the Million Mutt March, a walk benefiting OAA to help provide funds to help stomp out animal cruelty!  Attendees are invited to bring their own pets to enjoy a day in the park filled with fun activities, music, food in a pet friendly atmosphere, but most importantly to adopt homeless pets from area animal rescues and shelters.
