Since its formation 20 years ago, Oklahoma Alliance for Animals has worked hard to change the lives of animals in our state. Our mission to reduce pet overpopulation, encourage responsible pet ownership and promote the humane treatment of animals through community collaboration and education is more important than ever as we’ve seen a significant increase in need over the last few years. Why become an Animal Ally?

There are so many reasons, but here are a few!

  1. We work hard to be responsible with donations and have the biggest impact possible. One way we do that is by creating a budget and operating within it. Knowing we have donors committed to ongoing, regular gifts helps us plan better and confirms that we can depend on you! Sometimes, things happen that require us to look for a little “extra” because the need is so great, but as a rule, we “live within our means.”
  2. Setting up that monthly gift helps you plan better, too! You can schedule it to come out at a time and an amount that works best for you. Whether you choose to start your support at $5 a month or $1,000 a month, we promise your generosity will help us save lives.
  3. Finally, while we know your main goal is to partner with us in making our community better for the animals in it, you’ll also get a few goodies for joining our team! Here are a few examples of what you can expect.
    1. Everyone who signs up for at least a $5 monthly donation will receive a window cling letting everyone know they are part of our team, as well as recognition of your loyal support in our December newsletter.
    2. If you decide to donate at least $25 per month, you will also get $25 off a ticket to our annual Fur Ball as well as an exclusive invitation to an open house event in the fall where you will hear about the work we’ve been doing as well as what we have planned for the future. Staff and board members will be available to answer any questions you may have.
